Conservatives in Canada took power… by voter disenfranchisement

Across Canada in the last election conservatives were swept into power across the various provinces- all but one of the races being decided by less then 1,000 votes. And while the suspicion of foul play has been growing, the hard evidence is now coming in.

A massive series of robo-calls and live calls, directed at liberal voters, harassed voters and re-directed them to the wrong polling places.

Now IP evidence and phone records are in conclusively tying this massive campaign to the conservative Tory party. And investigations are linking the campaign to the very highest levels of the party.

Reminds me of a quote from a major republican operative in the US (who- I can’t remember exactly- if you know, please post it) about the democrats being to nice, and not knowing how to get down in the mud and play dirty…

About drugsandotherthings

I am a criminal. Because I have used cannabis and psychedelics extensively. I have tried many other drugs, but never cared for the uppers, downers, or dissociatives. I love craft beer, and absinthe, but don't care much for alcohols effects- which quite frankly, are boring and dangerous. Science is my religion. I am in my 40's, and have travelled extensively. And often forced myself outside of my confort zone. I am employed, a respected member of my communtiy, an animal lover, an environmentalist, a political junkie, and the realities I have experienced continue to push me further to the left of the political spectrum.
