Time for Justice Scalia to Step Down

He has made a mockery of the court with his partisan antics.

As Alexander Hamilton famously wrote, calling the court “the least sangerous branch”- they “have neither FORCE nor WILL, but merely judgment; and must ultimately depend upon the aid of the executive arm even for the efficacy of its judgments.”

And yet, when the court struck down huge parts of Arizonas “immigration law” this week Scalia strayed far from the issues at hand to level a tirade befitting Rush Limbaugh or Glen Beck against Obama for his recent decision regarding deportations. (see here)

This after his “performance” during the Obamacare hearings, when fellow justice John Roberts had to finally tell him to STFU saying “that’s enough friviolity for awhile”

And writing in his dissent: “a law-profession culture, that has largely signed on to the so-called homosexual agenda” …

It is clear Scalia has gone well over the edge, and is no longer fit to sit on the highest court in our nation.

About drugsandotherthings

I am a criminal. Because I have used cannabis and psychedelics extensively. I have tried many other drugs, but never cared for the uppers, downers, or dissociatives. I love craft beer, and absinthe, but don't care much for alcohols effects- which quite frankly, are boring and dangerous. Science is my religion. I am in my 40's, and have travelled extensively. And often forced myself outside of my confort zone. I am employed, a respected member of my communtiy, an animal lover, an environmentalist, a political junkie, and the realities I have experienced continue to push me further to the left of the political spectrum.
