Conservative Washington Times Founder Dies

thats right- the Reverend Sun Myung Moon, leader of the Unification Church better known as The Moonies, has  died.

Yes, the founder of the Washington Times, which oddly enough has become one of the main go to sources for the far right of the conservative movement. The man whose stated goal was “to rule the world and replace christianity with his own faith”.

And yet his rag of a “news” paper, one that was never profitable on it’s own right and heavily subsidized by the moonie agenda, has risen to the forefront of “sources” of “Facts” for the tea party and the far right of the GOP. Oh the irony…

a good, and long, article at the Washington Post here

About drugsandotherthings

I am a criminal. Because I have used cannabis and psychedelics extensively. I have tried many other drugs, but never cared for the uppers, downers, or dissociatives. I love craft beer, and absinthe, but don't care much for alcohols effects- which quite frankly, are boring and dangerous. Science is my religion. I am in my 40's, and have travelled extensively. And often forced myself outside of my confort zone. I am employed, a respected member of my communtiy, an animal lover, an environmentalist, a political junkie, and the realities I have experienced continue to push me further to the left of the political spectrum.
