Pot, meet Kettle. Sheldon Adelson

I don’t have enough hands for the face palm this requires… Sheldon Adelson, the billionaire (and top 2012 republican donor) whose fortune comes from casinos- is trying to convince congress of the evils of internet gambling.

Now, maybe I should point out that Sheldon was a lifelong democrat unit he started raking in money hand over fist with casinos- and the people who actually cleaned the hotel rooms, ran the floor, served the food- in other words- did the auctual work that kept his empire running and growing- *gasp* actually wanted to be paid a wage they could almost afford to live on.

I previously posted briefly on Sheldon back during the election cycle here. And the Washington Post article on the latest nonsense.

About drugsandotherthings

I am a criminal. Because I have used cannabis and psychedelics extensively. I have tried many other drugs, but never cared for the uppers, downers, or dissociatives. I love craft beer, and absinthe, but don't care much for alcohols effects- which quite frankly, are boring and dangerous. Science is my religion. I am in my 40's, and have travelled extensively. And often forced myself outside of my confort zone. I am employed, a respected member of my communtiy, an animal lover, an environmentalist, a political junkie, and the realities I have experienced continue to push me further to the left of the political spectrum.

One Response to Pot, meet Kettle. Sheldon Adelson

  1. Barneysday says:

Adelson is the scummiest poster boy for the gross failures of our Supremes and of “Citizens United.” Bill Maher did a wonderful take down of the Supremes over their Citizens ruling and gutting the voter rights act.
